T2, Mark Renton Returns Home After 20 Years in the Long-Awaited ‘Trainspotting’ Sequel
In July, Sony Pictures UK announced T2, the long-awaited, highly-anticipated sequel to the sublime 1996 Danny Boyle film Trainspotting with a short teaser. They’ve since release a longer trailer that shows Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returning home after 20 years and meeting up with old friends and nemeses including Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Spud (Ewen Bremner), Diane (Kelly McDonald) and even Begbie (Robert Carlyle).
