Storm Chaser Captures a Gorgeous Timelapse of a Colorful Storm Moving Over the South Dakota Plains

While chasing weather in the northern part of the midwestern United States, photographer Chad Cowan captured an absolutely gorgeous timelapse of a colorful storm moving across the plains of South Dakota. In Cowan’s judgement, the storm was somewhat weak, but reflected the sunlight beautifully as it gathered.

Although this storm was fairly weak, the colors and light on the backside of it were spectacular as the sun went down.
