New York City transit artist Puck Works created subway Ent maintenance posters based on The Lord of the Rings, informing riders that “Post-Isengard replanting work of Fangorn forest requires the suspension of service between Fangorn and Eryn Vorn.” The signs were posted throughout various stations and subway cars:
