Loving Dad Designs Star Wars Themed Corrective Helmets For His Son’s Year Long Recovery From Cranial Surgery

redditor mikesweeney recently posted a set of adorable pictures on imgur, explaining that his friend had lovingly designed a set of Star Wars-themed corrective helmets for his infant son Jack, who had to wear head protection for one year after undergoing surgery to correct his congenital craniosynostosis (a premature fusing of the skull).

My buddy’s kid had craniosynostosis surgery. His dad designed helmets for a year. Today is the last day of helmets. Happy birthday, Jack!

Yes, happy birthday Jack!
