Carbon Flyer, A Rugged Smartphone-Controlled Drone Built Out of Carbon Fiber

The Carbon Flyer is a rugged consumer UAV created by Trident Design that’s built almost entirely out of carbon fiber, allowing it to slam against walls or crash land with little impact. The smartphone-controlled drone, which can be tossed into the air like a paper plane, is currently seeking funding on Indiegogo. Trident is also the company behind the Quickey multi-tool and Flimsee lawn game.
