Cloud Parking, Fog Art Installation in a Rooftop Parking Lot
“Cloud Parking” by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya was a 2011 fog installation in a rooftop parking lot in Linz, Austria. The fog effect was created with a 600 nozzle high pressure water misting system (Flickr user thefogsystem has more photos of the installation). Nakaya has been making site-specific fog installations around the world since 1970. Her latest work, “Fog Bridge #72494,” is on display at the Exploratorium in San Francisco through September 16, 2013.
