A Friendly Rescued Prairie Dog Freezes in Place When His Human Stops Rubbing His Tummy

An adorable little rescued prairie dog named Peanut is very, very friendly to humans. So friendly in fact, that the Wild West Wildlife Center in Amarillo, Texas determined that releasing him back into the wild would be unwise and dangerous to the little mammal. Instead, Peanut lives at the rescue as an animal ambassador where he enjoys such wonderful perks as big tummy rubs where he freezes in place, a little playtime with volunteers and big bowls full of Cheerios.
