Objects, Minimalist Wall Murals Featuring Simple Items That Carry a Great Deal of Meaning
Spanish street artist Ampparito has created “Objects“, a series of worldwide minimalist wall murals featuring ordinary itemsin such a way as to give them far greater meaning than just their physical existence. The image of a giant chewed cap to a Bic pen indicates “anxiety, uncertainty and teeth grinding” while a Q-Tip stained with earwax “contains part of our secrets” and a nylon zip-tie is a quick fix for “a collapsed house with a guy inside”. Per Ampparito, these murals and other items represent his view of the world.
Under the name of Ampparito various disciplines are united, what started 10 years ago painting murals; today stands for and englobes the design of objects, t-shirts, stickers, sculptures, posters, photomontage, and guerrilla marketing, always complying with humor, irony and a different point of view, which configures me personal work.
