Gorgeous Underwater Photos of Jellyfish Propelling Themselves Through the Deep Water of the White Sea

Cyanea explosion

Underwater photographer Alexander Semenov (previously), who also works as a diver and project manager at the White Sea Biological Station in the Kandalaksha Gulf near the Arctic Circle, has captured gorgeous images of Lion’s Mane Jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) and Moon Jelly (Aurelia aurita) propelling themselves through the deep water and the light reflecting beautifully behind them.
