Google Asks Users to Choose Between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force to Awaken Star Wars-Themed Features

Google is asking users to choose between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force to awaken Star Wars-themed features across a variety of their apps and services. Users can unlock things like special Gmail backgrounds, Maps icons, and YouTube timelines that differ depending on which side of the Force they choose.

Google also shows users the “Balance of the Force” to indicate what percentage of users have chosen which side. At the time of this writing, the Dark Side has a slight edge of the Light.
