Blub Uno, A Clock That Displays Time With a Single Nixie Tube

Blub Uno is a clock that displays time with a single Nixie tube–a cold cathode ray tube that was used to displays numbers and symbols in electronics from the 1950s to the 1970s. In addition to displaying time (as a sequence of numbers), the clock can show the temperature and date, and it can serve as an alarm. Blub Uno’s creator, Duncan Hellmers, is funding the clock on Kickstarter. In 2013, we posted about Blub, Hellmers’ original Nixie tube clock that is equipped with four tubes.
