A Visibly Vexed John Oliver Verbally Rails Against the Brexit Referendum Decision to Leave
Just a week after his very passionate plea for British citizens to vote against leaving the European Union, a visibly vexed John Oliver took a few moments out of the June 26 episode of Last Week Tonight to verbally express his disappointment with the results of and his complete disdain for the government leaders responsible for the referendum.
Before before you have any sympathy for David Cameron, you should know this whole vote was his idea in the first place.. Yes, Cameron proposed the in or out choice himself, which he normally only does when he’s deciding whether to fuck a pigs mouth. Meanwhile the Brexit vote has boosted its two most vocal backers Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party and three-time cover model for ‘most punchable face magazine’ and Boris Johnson, a shaved orangutan with Owen Wilson’s hair. Before and after the vote both men drove home a common theme: ‘I believe that this Thursday can be our country’s Independence Day”, “Let June 23rd go down in our history as our independence day.” OK, a couple of things there first, Britain was already independent. In fact it’s what many other countries celebrate their independence.
Oliver also had some very choice words for the presumptive U.S. Republican nominee.
Things don’t appear to be looking very good in the U.K. right now, particularly if the “new P.M.” is any indication.
