Polish design group mepi has created a fascinating Oculus Rift virtual reality headset experiment that uses third-person perspective to give users a way to experience their environment while also being able to see themselves in it. The experiment serves as mepi’s entry to Intel’s Make It Wearable Challenge.
The idea is to develop Virtual Reality in a Third Person Perspective view. This wearable can enchance human visual performance for use in real world applications where extended vision benefits the user.
