A Colorblind Man Is Overwhelmed When He Sees Purple for the First Time Wearing Special Glasses

Ethan Zachery Scott, a colorblind man, is overwhelmed when he sees purple first time after someone gives him a pair of special EnChroma glasses with corrective lenses. The lenses work by blocking a narrow spectrum of color that can be misinterpreted by a colorblind person. Blocking that spectrum can allow the colorblind person to properly distinguish colors.
