2008 Super Bowl XLII Commercials

by Scott Beale on February 3, 2008 · 8 comments

Of course many people watch the Super Bowl just for the commercials. If you missed any or want to see them again, Hulu (see my previous post on Hulu) is featuring high quality videos of all of the commercials that aired during this year’s game.

One of the Super Bowl ads was the new trailer for “Iron Man”.

UPDATE 1: Mahalo provided live coverage of the commercials as they were aired.

UPDATE 2: Here’s Ad Age’s reviews of the Super Bowl ads. They think Madison Avenue blew it this year.

I found the ads to be pretty boring this year. The best one (for me) was the Bud Light “Fire Breathing” one.

Usually Superbowl ads are usually really poor ads but are highly entertaining, and somehow I find that this year they are mostly poor ads and not entertaining at all.

Unfortunately, the videos are unwatchable from outside of the United States. Viva la web.
