Wonderful Miniature Sculptures Carved in Pencil Graphite

Russian artist Salavat Fidai carves incredibly tiny sculptures in the graphite (which is not lead) of pencils. His subject matter ranges from pop culture with characters such as Darth Vader and Batman to technical feats like interconnected locks. Fidai doesn’t limit his miniature artwork to sculpture–he also makes tiny paintings on seeds. His latest work can be viewed on his Instagram account. Prints are available on his Etsy store
