Mobile payment company Square has announced the Square Stand, a payment register designed to work with an iPad. The Square Stand has a built-in card reader, an iPad dock, and a swivel screen, and allows users to connect receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners for use with Square’s Register app for iPad. The Square Stand is compatible with the iPad 2 and 3, is currently available for pre-order, and will ship on July 8th.
