More Anatomical Paper Filigree Art by Lisa Nilsson

These incredibly detailed anatomical cross sections are the latest in Lisa Nilsson’s paper filigree “Tissue Series.” The artworks are made out of rolled paper and gilt edges from old books, in a technique also known as quilling. Her work is on display at the Boston University Art Gallery through March 31, 2013. We first posted about Nilsson’s anatomical paper filigree last year.
