Light Rorschach, Inkblot-Style Photos Made by Spinning Molten Steel Wool
In his photo series “Light Rorschach,” photographer Nicolas Rivals used light painting techniques to create inkblot-style images out of molten steel wool. The effect was achieved by burning steel, spinning it, and photographing it in long exposures. The wool was photographed over water to mirror the images.
