John Oliver Shares His Concern for the Troubling and Ongoing Practice of School Segregation

On the October 30th episode of Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver took on the controversial topic of school segregation, noting that not only this troubling practice remained, it’s become more of an issue than ever.

The classroom should teach children about the importance of self-esteem not rip it from them… and there could be lasting positive impacts to integration but not because the mere act of having a white classmate is somehow magic it’s not…but getting to attend a good middle-class school can be transformative.
