Eight-Year-Old Seattle Girl Receives a Steady Supply of Gifts From the Neighborhood Crows

Gabi Mann, an eight-year-old girl living in Seattle, has an unusual arrangement with the neighborhood crows–she feeds the birds each morning, and in return, the crows leave a steady supply of gifts for her. The arrangement began in 2013, when Gabi and her mother Lisa began feeding the crows peanuts and dog food. The birds began leaving trinkets in the yard like pieces of glass, a paper clip, and a blue LEGO block. Gabi has meticulously labeled each gift and stores them in her growing collection.
