Donky Bike, An Urban Cargo Bicycle

The Donky Bike is an ingenious city bicycle that can carry easily carry bulky items on front and rear racks (video). The removable racks are mounted on a sturdy square-section beam that runs the length of the bike—that means the weight is held by the frame, not the handlebars (as with front cargo baskets). The frame is compact to keep the footprint small and the low-speed handling agile, even while carrying loads. The Donky Bike was created by British designer Ben Wilson and is now available for purchase online.
