China Test Drives a Giant Elevated Bus That Straddles Other Vehicles as It Travels Down the Road
China has debuted the TEB-1, a giant elevated bus that straddles other vehicles as it travels down the road. The massive vehicle took a test drive in the city of Qinhuangdao. The test took the TEB-1 along a 300-meter test track at a speed of 10 km/h. Earlier this year, engineers presented a model of the bus at the 19th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo.
