Beautiful Painting-Like Photos of the Iconic Flatiron Building in New York City During the Blizzard
During the amazing blizzard that hit New York City and much of the east coast on January 26, photographer Michelle Palazzo braved the harsh weather and captured absolutely remarkable photos of the iconic Flatiron Building as its triangular stance fought off the elements. The incoming snow help to create an ad-hoc filter that made each photo look like it was a painting trapped in a much earlier era, while the exhibit of paper origami snowflakes created by Chelsea Hrynick Browne innocently watched as their frozen brethren piled up outside.
Jonas Snow Storm hitting the Flat Iron Building. While walking through the Jonas Winter Storm that swept across the East Coast last week, I captured this shot of the Flatiron Building against a backdrop of swirling snow. The cloudy atmosphere and gusty winds creates patterns that appear uncannily like brush strokes.
