The Supporting Act is a wonderful 2017 short animated Christmas film, created by the talented folks at BBC One, about a young girl who works hard for her school’s holiday talent show. Her hard-working father, however, finds it hard to spend time with her, until she really needs him. The loving father and nervous daughter share a special, heart melting moment on the night of the talent show that brings them both closer together and helps the young lady nail her performance.
