Artist Sipho Mabona Is Planning To Make a Lifesize Origami Elephant Out of a Giant Square of Paper

Origami artist Sipho Mabona will make a lifesize origami elephant sculpture out of a 50-foot-wide square of paper in his upcoming project “White Elephant.” Mabona and 3 assistants will assemble the 10-foot-tall sculpture at an art museum in Beromünster, Switzerland over the course of several weeks. Mabona is raising funds for the project on Indiegogo.
