A Yummy Double Cheeseburger Cake Made From Chocolate & Buttercream With Sugar Cookie Fries

In the latest episode of the yummy video series “How to Cake It“, talented baker Yolanda Gampp demonstrated how to make a double cheeseburger cake. Gampp cleverly used vanilla cake for the bun, chocolate for the burger patties, buttercream for the mustard and candy for the relish. And of course, Gampp made a side of sugar cookie fries with ketchup also made out of buttercream.

There is nothing more satisfying than a burger and fries. Delicious, fulfilling and topped just the way you like it. I occasionally like to treat myself to this meal. But a sweet version of a burger and fries? Now, that’s a real treat! …I wanted to make the patty out of something other than chocolate cake and fondant this time. So I made it out of cocoa rice puffs, chocolate and marshmallow. It really gives this cake added texture and crunch. Topped with modeling chocolate cheese, candy relish and some fun gumpaste garnishes – this burger cake is sure to satisfy.
