A Stranger Visits a Deadly Village in Animated Music Video for Radiohead’s New Single ‘Burn the Witch’

The colorfully animated video for Radiohead‘s new single “Burn the Witch” directed by Chris Hopewell incorporates a number of different but distinct influences including The Wicker Man, The Prisoner and Burning Man. The animation tells the story of a stranger who arrives at a small bustling village where he’s introduced by an ambassador to the various deathly rituals around town without taking part. It’s only when the visitor is encouraged to climb a ladder into a giant man that his life is truly in danger.
