To promote the debut of the Louie Psihoyos documentary Racing Extinction at the 2015 Boulder International Film Festival, production company Balcony Nine Media equipped a Tesla Model S with an electroluminescent paint job and a projector. The projector beamed film clips from the film, images of threatened species and ecological facts and figures across buildings and landscapes of Denver and Boulder, Colorado.
