Eyes On Cinema has released a three-minute video clip from 1980 that shows Star Wars sound designer Ben Burtt deconstructing the “comical” and layered sound effect behind the Millennium Falcon‘s hyperdrive malfunction. The actual noise is featured in a scene from George Lucas‘ 1980 film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
