UPDATE 5: The creators of You Suck At Photoshop have been unmasked and have launched a new sequel series “Sn4tchbuckl3r’s Second Chance”.
UPDATE 6: After a two month hiatus, You Suck at Photoshop has returned with another episode, #11 Smart Objects.
UPDATE 7: The final episode (#20) is now out and at long last the mystery has been relieved, as many of those in the comments have guessed, Donnie Hoyle is actually comedian Dane Cook or at least that’s what they would like you to think.

I think it’s Dane Cook too. Even though in vid 2 he’s got pics of dane were he’s named the files douch bag and pussy. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out it’s really him. I guess he spends a lot of time on the computer, but I would be surprised to find that he’s that good with photoshop. Perhaps he just narrates it?

Dane Cook? Unless he’s got more talent than I’ve ever noticed, not a chance. Plus the humor and voicework is far more subtle than I think Cook could manage. I’ll be sort of surprised if it’s not David Cross. I’m almost sure that it is. He also would put up picks about how Dane Cook sucks, and given the opportunity, how you suck for crediting his work to Dane Cook’s far more pedestrian a##. He might even photoshop something to that end.

Another thing is that although David Cross relies on self-deprecating humor, he has too much ego and wouldn’t ever reach the low-low levels Donnie Hoyle explores.
And I really don’t think Dane Cook would do anything so esoteric as You Suck at PS – it might disturb his fraternity brothers.

It is Tim after Tim. There’s a Phebco advert in the middle of that show, and Donnie works at Phebco.
The Dane Cook images in the second tutorial are just a joke against people who thought he was Dane Cook after the first tutorial.

I agree. It’s Troy Hitcher. No doubt about it. I only referenced the Dane Cook interview to show that he’s into Photo Shop.
It’s Dane Cook. It is so effing obvious that anyone who thinks it’s any other comedian has likely never even heard Dane Cook’s voice even once. It is very obviously discernable, along with Dane Cook-ish euphamisms (”… a couple of you sprained your vaginas…”) the entire tone and cadence of the voice matches Dane Cook’s perfectly. It also matches his style of comedy. David Cross? His voice is higher pitched and whinier, and he’s not as vulgar. Seriously, listen closely, youtube a few of Dane Cook’s comedy clips and come back here and relisten to the photoshop clips. Seriously. It’s so obvious I’m borderline enraged that people aren’t picking up on this.

Has anyone actually considered the fact that maybe different people are being donnie? i mean think about it, for about the first 5 or something videos his voice changes in each video, not by a lot but honestly i think its noticable. (listen to it with ear phones) until about the last few then its consistant. its probably a few of the people everyone claims it is… dane cook, tim after tim guy, David cross… they just keep switching it up. i think they are doing it to mess with us.
The 1st one is Dane Cook. The rest are not. Haven’t analysed any further but I’m pretty sure the last 10 are all the same guy.

I can see why people would think it’s Dane Cook. Honestly, just change his voice a bit, give him some material that is actually funny, give his jokes punchlines, and give him jokes he hadn’t stolen from another comedian, and you have this man. David cross, maybe, but he has a different comedy style. He tends to go with the bizzare. now, here is who he actually is so you lot can shut up.

The vanogan skit is definately Dane. However, I really believe that the others are all David Cross. There was one of them that sounded like neither one of them, but I love both Dane and David, and I am pretty sure I would recognize their voices and delivery style anywhere.
