Whiz Burgers

On the way home from the San Francisco Metblogs meetup tonight, I stopped by Whiz Burgers Drive-In in the Mission. I highly recommend thier fresh banana shake.

I love the veggie burgers (with mushrooms, cheddar, and swiss, please!) and the waffle fries. Whiz Burger is an institution!

When I lived in SF, Whiz is where I went for a shake. They were also the first fast food place I can remember serving veggie burgers. That was over 15 years ago. Thanks for making me frustratingly hungry.
