‘The Itinerant Printer’, An Artist’s Yearlong Project Making Letterpress Prints at 100 Shops Around the United States

For 2015, artist Chris Fritton intends visit 100 letterpress printshops around the United States, making a limited edition print at each shop, for an ambitious project he is calling The Itinerant Printer. Fritton plans to travel 30,000 miles, visiting 75 cities across 48 states. During the project he will produce 30,000 prints, and ultimately, an art book. Fritton is raising funds for the project on Indiegogo and backers will receive postcards, T-shirts, and prints from the project.
