NewHive is a content creation platform for “Keeping the Internet weird” that allows users to design what they call “expressions” to share with others. In this way it’s similar to other platforms like Tumblr, but NewHive includes a more robust WYSIWYG-style editor that allows users to drag and drop during creation to let them get a little more creative with how their content is presented on the site. As an example, NewHive user Penny has an “expression” titled useuu that includes a video of the same image used in their background featuring the sound of bagpipes.
Though it’s been around in some form for years now, NewHive just today came out of private beta.
