Nerdcore Crash

A really bad accident occurred last night on the Nercore tour, when the tour van with MC Frontalot, MC Lars and YTCracker hit an ice patch and skidded out of control, crashing into a guardrail. Luckily the guys are ok, but the trailer containing their equipment was completely destroyed. They had to cancel their show in Lincoln, NE, but rest of the tour will go on as scheduled.

Here’s more on the accident from MC Frontalot, MC Lars and YT Cracker did a video report from the crash scene. Jason Scott has the full report over on Slashdot. As Jason suggests, if you want to help support these guys, please consider purchasing their albums or merchandise:

- MC Frontalot Merchandise

- MC Lars Merchandise

- YTCracker Merchandise

I went to two shows at the beginning of the tour, and both nights were truly excellent.

Another good way of showing support would be to buy Lars and YT's latest album, which they've released online in a Radiohead-style 'pay as much as you want' way: http://dglp.digitalgangster.com/

Pay $1,200 and they'll play a show at your house!
