Howard Rheingold has been uploading scans of some wonderful sketches he made in his notebook from a HotWired (Wired Magazine’s original web presence) meeting that took place on May 18th, 1994. What an amazing piece of internet history.

That’s pretty cool. Do you know what he did the coloring with? Just different colored highlighters?
This is great — and actually, it isn’t all that much different from the kinds of documents people produce now when they’re trying to launch a new online publication. I especially like the part where he says “need to write a call to arms.” I wonder where the HotWired call to arms is now?
