Black Rock Arts Foundation First Annual ARTumnal Gathering

The Black Rock Arts Foundation (BRAF) is hosting their First Annual ARTumnal Gathering on Saturday, November 3rd at The Lodge Level of The Regency Center in San Francisco. It’s a benefit in support of BRAF’s mission to inspire art, community and civic participation. The event features the “Caravanserai of Wearable Art” auction and amazing line-up of unique performers. Here’s more info on the event, including how to purchase tickets.

Guests will participate in a lavish evening of sumptuous food, an open bar, and a caravan of elegant and outlandish live performers: aerialists, acrobats, strolling musicians and live bands. A featured part of the gala will be the ‘Caravanserai of Wearable Art’ – an auction of custom-crafted pieces of costumery, clothing and adornments. An inspiring lineup of local and nationally-based artists and designers have contributed their work to support the Black Rock Arts Foundation’s efforts.

We’ll have elegant and outlandish live bands, performers, musicians, dancers, aerialists, contortionists, stiltwalkers, and living works of art, like YOU — including Afrofunk Explosion (featuring members of ALBINO), Dr. Abacus – feral-minded cartoon jazz, Fou Fou HA – mayhem-making and dance shinanegans, Dan Cantrell & His Balkan Orchestra, Kerri Kresinski & Sweet Can Productions – aerial and circus arts, Kitten on the Keys – on the grand pipe organ & accordian, Bad Unkl Sista – costumes & Butoh, Samantha – Serpentine Moves belly dance, DJ Adnan – world house beats, Dwora & Shredder of Vau de Vire Society – contortion and hoop, and more!!!
