The Somber Radiohead Song ‘No Surprises’ Performed in the Defiant Style of The Smiths

Musician Desmond Doom, who reimagined the angsty Smashing Pumpkins song “1979” in the style of Joy Division, applied the distinctive defiant style of The Smiths to the somber Radiohead song “No Surprises”. Not only did Doom match his vocals to those of Morrissey, but his guitar licks from “This Charming Man” and “Heaven Knows” fit perfectly into both songs.
