Game of Thrones Season 5 has come to an end, and what an insane end it was! While we were picking our jaws off the floor, we here at Game/Show started thinking: is Game of Thrones an example of good game design? Or is the game in George R.R. Martin’s novels just an extended metaphor? How do we define good game design, and how can it be applied to other media outside of games?
