Internet sensation Maru, the Scottish Fold cat (that lives in Japan) now has his first English language book, I am Maru, available on August 23, 2011. The book, published by Harper Collins, was compiled by his human companion, mugumogu, and gives insights on the “low-key life” of this internet feline celebrity. His blog of the same name, I am Maru, has plenty of fun images and links to all his video adventures.

This…cat may be an internet sensation, but he knows how to keep his celebrity status from going to his fluffy head…mostly…See all his favorite hiding places—trash cans, cupboards, cereal boxes…if it’s cozy, he’s there—meet his treasured toys, and learn what it means to wield just the right amount of cat-titude.

A favorite of ours, we’ve covered many of Maru’s adventures in the past including:

—Maru The Cat Loves To Attack Boxes
—How Small of a Box Will Maru The Cat Get Into?
—Maru vs. Christmas Stocking
—The Many Hairstyles of Maru The Cat
—Internet Famous Maru The Cat Turns 4
—Mac OS X Maru
