Driftwood Doilies, A Baltic Sea Beach Art Installation by NeSpoon
In 2010, Polish outdoor artist NeSpoon gathered crocheted lace doilies and installed them on pieces of driftwood at Oak Beach on the Baltic Sea. The results are simply lovely and according to the artist, lasted for a week on the beach.
The effects of my work aroused great interest. Many people made pictures of the installations, they moved them around from place to place, they were even used for the construction of beach camps. Small children with great joy played around them.
