Contributor by Google, A New Service That Removes Ads From Popular Websites for a Monthly Fee

Contributor is a new “experimental” service by Google that removes advertisements from popular sites when users pay a set monthly fee, allowing sites to monetize their content while removing distracting ads. Google has already partnered with a number of high profile sites, including Mashable, The Onion and Urban Dictionary and is taking applications for more.
