The inimitable Christopher Lloyd of Back to the Future and actor Jaeden Martell surprised fans with a live-action promo for the otherwise animated series Rick and Morty. This version of Rick from Dimension C-132 landed in the Smith’s garage through the use of Rick’s signature portal gun. Rick (Lloyd) then burped loudly and told Morty (Martell) that they were home. Morty responded with his distinctive “Oh Jeez”.
Rick and Morty is based on Justin Roiland‘s animated short “The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti”, which featured parodies of Doc Brown (played by Lloyd) and Marty McFly from Back to the Future.
A 2nd clip has emerged referencing the classic “Pickle Rick” episode.
