Apple Announces New Mac Pro Desktop Computer at WWDC 2013
Apple has announced a new version of its Mac Pro desktop computer at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. The cylindrical desktop is just one eighth the volume of the previous Mac Pro and features a 12-core Intel Xeon processor with 1,866MHz DDR3 RAM and two AMD FirePro graphics cards. The new Mac Pro also includes six Thunderbolt ports, four USB 3.0 ports, and will support 4K displays. The desktop is completely assembled in the USA, and will launch “later this year”.
