While at Comic-Con 2017, Tested editor Norman Chan got an up close look at a lot of the stop-motion puppets, vehicles, and environments created for LAIKA animation studio’s amazing collection of films.

From 3D-printed model parts to large-scale mechanized puppets, the fabrication and finish of these characters are a labor of love for the art of stop-motion animation.
