San Francisco Video Blogger Josh Wolf Arrested
San Francisco independent journalist and video blogger Josh Wolf was arrested yesterday for refusing a federal grand jury’s request to turn over a video he shot of a burning police car during last year’s G8 protest. It appears that this is a situation where independent journalists and bloggers are not given the same rights as traditional journalists and the outcome of this may have a major impact on the definition of who is considered media and who is not.
