UMSkinCheck is a free skin cancer screening app by University of Michigan Health System that allows users to complete a full skin cancer self exam using an iOS device. It will “store a full body photographic library, track detected moles/lesions, download informational videos and literature and locate a skin cancer specialist.” It is available to download at the iTunes store.
Dr. Michael Sable from the University of Michigan Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic talks about melanoma and the importance of skin cancer self-exam especially for those who are at a high risk for skin cancer.
