The Slanket

The Slanket = a blanket with sleeves!

Sometimes you want to read a book, channel surf, eat popcorn or play a video game and it is chilly in your house, apartment, teepee, igloo, or whatever you call home. It is hard to lie on the couch or in bed and read a book without your shoulders and upper body exposed to the elements. So cover up with THE SLANKET, the best fleece blanket with sleeves, and you will be wrapped up snug like a toasty burrito in the middle of winter!

A ten tentacle salute to Jason Laskodi for the tip!

MacEnthusiast should make one with a heat shield where the powerbook is sitting in the picture ;>

I just discovered the laughing squid and you’re definitely in my bookmarks now. And I think I need a slanket…

Slanket is awesome. After I got one for myself, I got one for my girlfriend (so I could get mine back). Super warm. Be prepared to share it with your pets, if you have any.

This thing is great! Now I can stay toasty and have my hands free. My only regret is that I didn’t think of it.

ikea actually sells a blanket with sleeves EXACTLY like the slanket. and for much cheaper. i think i got mine for $19.99? not sure if they still have it since they were selling it since last winter.

OK, the only IKEA product I see that is even remotely like the Slanket is the PS GOINGE… (http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10103&storeId=12&langId=-1&productId=61462)
Which is a 59″x38″poncho/cape for children…

Is that what you meant picklesandrelish, or something else?
