Robot Attack Protection From Old Glory Insurance

Here’s a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch from November 18th, 1995 featuring Sam Waterson pitching Robot Attack Protection from Old Glory Insurance.

As a senior citizen, you’re probably aware of the threat robots pose. Robots are everywhere, and they eat old people’s medicine for fuel.

Phooey. It’s a spoof. I thought it was denial-of-service attack insurance.

This has been a favorite of mine for years. I think my favorite part is the robot dumping medication into its mouth and spilling most of it everywhere.

I don’t need insurance.
Those evil-natured robots
they’re programmed to destroy us.
They don’t believe me
but you won’t let those robots eat me.

Hah, that’s great. Wish I saw that video a few weeks ago. We just had a huge robot fight on saturday (pictures and details here: http://www.youthinspiredrobots.com ) and that video would’ve been perfect to help advertise it.
