Popin’ Cookin’, A Japanese Gummi Sushi Kit

This strangely mesmerizing Japanese video of Popin’ Cookin’ shows the process of making gummi sushi from a store-bought kit that costs about three dollars. While the end product is unsettling in its glistening, jiggly realism, the main point of the kit seems to be the meticulous process of crafting gummi sushi from an array of colored powders, fish-shaped molds, and tiny utensils.
